| playa awareness: | we will minimize packaging of food and other materials. we will avoid bringing banned materials such as feather, etc. food and drink will be packed in and packed out. |
| trash disposal: | we will provide two sealed, communal trash bins for our camp. we will provide coffee cans in our shade structure for the smokers within our camp to dispose of their smelly butts. this trash will packed out in full and disposed of once back home in san francisco. |
| burn material: | we plan to have a minimum amount of burn material. this material will be taken to the fire pits on the last day. |
| recycling plans: | we will provide a separate container for all aluminum cans which we will take to recycling camp. all other recyclable materials will be placed in a communal recycle bin in our camp, packed out and disposed of once back home. |
| grey water: | we will provide a evaporation pool for showers and dish water. the grey water will be contained within a evaporation pool next to the shower. all grey water that does not evaporate will be sealed in plastic buckets for transport back to the real world. |
| camp cleanup: | we will continually be aware of our surroundings and have daily cleanups. this will ease the final cleanup after the camp structures have been taken down. we will then canvas our area to verify that all trash has been removed. |
| playa cleanup: | we will contribute able bodies and insane minds to at least 2 hours of playa cleanup *each* before departure. |
